Very sad story. I feel like the author is experiencing a lack of compassion. It's ok to be brainwashed, and ok to be involved in supporting specific political views. Because of that 99.9 of MD in the US and 99% of doctors all over the globe are not doctors anymore. Meanwhile, as humans, we should appreciate any good will. People change. Sometimes too late.
