I have an idea of what this "suffering existence" may look like only because I read widely and have relatives in different places around the world with which to exchange views and information.

I do not disagree with you or your perspective. I just hate that the profit driven business model has been abused to the point where news is presented more as entertainment than anything else it seems, and that it's apparently legal to present lies/speculation as fact, let the chips fall where they may.

Real damage is being done in the name of profit in so many areas, it's hard to keep up.
