Excellent discussion. While listening to Ms. Bowles's description of how the Illiberal Left has taken over our liberal institutions, I suddenly realized how closely their playbook maps to that of the Illiberal Right in taking over the Republican Party and the House of Representatives. If we are to save our liberal democratic republic, we need to find a way to break this pernicious Horseshoe off our necks.
