Another week begins, and John J. Kelly is still on the ethics board of the City of Albuquerque, appointed by Mayor Tim Keller. Kelly served as Epstein’s POA for the purchase of Zorro Ranch in 1993, the same year he was appointed United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico by Bill Clinton’s justice department. Kelly served as the lead federal law enforcement official for New Mexico until 2000, and never investigated Epstein. A reader this past week sent me FEC filings with a new finding: Jeffrey Epstein donated at least $2000 to Kelly’s congressional campaign (which Kelly lost). He ran for the same seat presently held by Melanie Stansbury. No one in the Mayor’s office or state government seems to think there is anything wrong with John J. Kelly being a mayoral appointee to the ETHICS BOARD of New Mexico’s largest city, because New Mexico is a beautiful shithole run by criminals.
