I suspect I know where you are, Ted. Near where both my folks were born. And near where a friend of mine now lives. I spent some time there a few years ago, looking up the places my family had been. Hadn't been there since my grandparents died. Have no plans to go back. I do appreciate your updates, as it reinforces my understanding of why my parents and ALL their siblings left as soon as they could (in the 30s).
