I read the article and it said that Kyle actually texted his other passenger (in the shotgun seat) that Routh was a nutcase while he was sitting in the back on the way to the range. IMHO, that could and should have been used in Routh's insanity defense. Either way, the guy definitely wasn't insane to kill the sociopath Kyle. I just don't know much about Littlefield except that I'm from Texas and that surname is a common one here; a town outside of Lubbock is named after someone bearing it. And several of them were dastardly murderous settlers who massacred American Indians. Oh well. Live by the gun, die by the gun.
