Bruce, you belonged to the SDS? I was in comm college (then called Junior College) in the late 60s and wrote a paper titled something like "How the SDS will Destroy American Society"! I still have it somewhere and cringe when I read it. I lived a sheltered upbringing in the corn fields of N. Illinois, deep in white privilege territory without knowing it.
