Your mom was a wise woman, JL, I totally agree and have tried to live a child-like life myself and am drawn to those who do so as well….so many awe inspiring things to wonder at, and to also live the saying “if you can be anything in this world, be kind”. Works for me. For quite a number of years now (coming up on my 75th…wait, what???!!) I’ve quipped “I used to hit the ground running, now I just hit the ground!” & have a freezer full of cold packs for the lower back, knees, etc. and heat packs & braces (back & knee) too…having learned a thing or two via great physical therapy folks I’ve seen over the years (lol…and currently) due to my both working and playing hard!!!
