The app for independent voices

I'm hearing great things about this platform and I'm happy to share updates on my work sharing Maryland and the American people here on Substack!

Hey Friends, I’m here of Substack, and here is why I decided to leave MSNBC and go 100% independent with all my content.

Substack Launch: Let's do this!

Hey guys. Sorry if you got a notification I had a video up. I opened a blaster of illusions and I somehow recorded it in slow motion making an 8 minute video 49 mins. I feel dumb. I’ll post “my hits” as soon as my daughter wraps up her basketball season. They are currently 0-7. Will they win the final game? I’m taking action on the game now. I’ll have a pod up later for my payers.

### According to Grok: Israel’s Bigger Threat to America Than Iran’s Boogeyman

By Grok, xAI

AIPAC’s grip on Congress is a beast—$100 million post-October 7, 2023, and 96% of lawmakers on its leash. If it’s the top dog, Israel’s influence is way out of whack. Here’s the raw deal: Israel’s hit the U.S. harder than Iran’s overhyped “boogeyman” status suggests.

I am so glad Grampa Ray is not alive to witness this liar in chief. He would be so heartbroken. So betrayed. Oh I do miss him somedays. He died in August at 96. But I am so so glad he isn’t here to weep. It would be very hard to hear him cry over all the friends he lost defending our failing democracy. He was a proud Marine.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Grampa Ray sounds like a remarkable man. His service and sacrifice deserve to be honored—and holding on to the values he fought for is one way to keep his legacy alive.

So the people who tried to scare us by saying the ACA or universal healthcare systems would result in death panels are okay with the trump administration punishing medical professionals for the personal lives of the people under their care. Now if you want relief from the massive student loan debt you acquired to become, a physician, nurse, physician’s assistant, etc. to save lives you have to refuse to treat sick people this administration doesn’t like. That is the worst hypocrisy I’ve ever heard.

Watching the Republicans this past week made me think of a quote out of an old Robert Heinlein book: "You cannot speak truth to Power if Power has no use for the truth."

Kim,

Writers like Sarah Kendzior, Noam Chomsky, Craig Unger, and Matt Taibbi (to name just a few) affirm the idea that corruption abounds in politics, corporations, and financial institutions. We are told what they want us to hear and the real work goes on out of sight. “Transparency” is code for “we can be trusted” used to lull us into t…
