The media asking Zelenskyy if he wants to apologize to Trump is everything wrong with the media. They should be asking if Trump wants to apologize to Zelenskyy. Most Americans are humiliated at the trash behavior by Trump and JD in the Oval.
Did anyone else see the horrific display in the Oval Office last Friday as a ritual exercise in male domination? I don’t want to insult great apes, but I’ve seen similar performances at the zoo. Trump and Vance sought to humiliate Zelensky, treating him with the same disrespect they treat … well, women.

Trump and Vance beclowned themselves in their meeting with Zelenskyy. They came across as weak, petty little bullies. Zelenskyy’s position will now be strengthened around the globe while America continues to sink further and further into disrepute.

I encourage everyone interested in America’s place in the world to read this — extraordinary analysis and presentation of the facts. Also, I just donated to one of the charities he lists at the end. I think it would be a good idea for as many of as possible to do the same, send a powerful message that we, the American people, stand with Ukraine and democracy against Putin and tyranny.
JD/Trump are thugs. And this ambush of Zelensky at the White House will do deep damage to Ukraine, to our allies and to the U.S.
Openly ridiculing and demeaning a man who has kept his country alive for three years against all the odds is a national embarrassment and runs counter to our own security interests. But they could care less that Ukraine was invaded by Russia — the second biggest military power on the planet — led by a ruthless dictator willing to sacrifice soldiers and civilians by the hundreds of thousands. Trump and JD preening, trying to look tough even though it’s Zelensky who is the strongest man in the room. The guy who was supposed to lose to Russia in a matter of hours or days is still there, fighting. As are the brave Ukrainian soldiers on the front line.
We help Ukraine because it’s the right thing to do for a fellow democracy that is suffering a brutal invasion AND because if Ukraine were to fall, the next fight would be on the front lines of our NATO allies and our military would be treaty-bound to join the war. In other words, Ukraine is shouldering the total cost in terms of the fighting, the lives forever damaged and the lives lost so that we and our European allies don’t have to.
Trump and Vance are not only abandoning Ukraine. They are abandoning the security of our country. Today they made it much more likely that our service members will be fighting again in Europe, 80 years after countless brave Americans helped liberate the continent and make it safe for democracy.
Shameful.
Disgusting! Every single American should be out in the streets! This is an epic betrayal! Trump and Vance are monsters. No better than Putin.

A second State Visit here would demean all previous State Visits by the U.S. Presidents we have all respected. Forget it. The invitation is not in my name.
Zelensky should not sign any agreements with the United States. Our government cannot be trusted now to keep any promises. Everything from Trump’s mouth is lies. I never thought the US would ever turn on our allies and side with Russia.
The USA will soon find it has become an island of corruption and lies where no honorable and courageous leaders will come. Kudos and respect to President Zelenskyi for standing up to the grifters and slimy salesmen who now run America. I’m euphoric. I felt trepidation all night and this morning. I did NOT WANT Zelinski to sign any deal with Trump. i knew in my bones that this was a trap— Ukraine was going to be robbed of resources, left in the cold, vulnerable to Putin, ….. i am sooooo glad that Trump showed his true colors.
