Sure but the amount of corruption at the local level in villages, towns, and cities is far less in the Muslim North as in the Christian South. That's not even controversial. There are issues with Islam up there, notably terrorism, but corruption at the local level is not one of them.

Why you want to be a patriotic Nigerian is beyond me. At one time I knew a lot of Nigerians, and 90% of them wanted out. They almost all tried to steal from or scam us too. In fact, one took me for $2,500. So I'm not ecstatic about Nigerians. Way too many of them are criminals, though obviously you are clean and honest.
