He's on meds but he gets breakthrough manias regularly. And anyone, he cannot drink alcohol. One or two beers and he gets really manic. And his manias are very cruel, evil, filled with hatred, narcissitic, psychopathic, aggressive, menacing, and violent. He's not really a happy manic.

Thing is he has absolutely zero awareness that he's going manic. I mean none, zero, zip. Is this normal to have absolutely no self-awareness like that?
