As another commenter noted the most remarkable aspect of the 2024 election is that despite there being no COVID there was no gigantic surge (18% more for Trump, 20% more for Biden) in "votes" as in 2020 during COVID, turnout went back to the usual level. I guess both sides (and the Ds in particular) were "persuaded" to do less obvious ballot box stuffing.
