Lamenting the loss of what once was on another site, I love “following” people here simply because I cannot get emails on the regular from all the ones whose wonderful work I want to see.

Professor, thank You for detailing the date, Friday, 9/6/24 when Judge Juan Merchan will rule against Trump's motion to Dismiss the 34 felonies (11+11+12=34) as each felony were private acts not "official acts" which were intentionally aimed at securing the silence of Stormy Daniels. Trump's former counsel who has served time at Rikers NY Prison for some of the same acts should be a devastating witness.
Even more important is the matter of the ten (10) court determined violations of the Protective Order (PTO) aimed at protecting witnesses, jurors & others.
That is total of 44 pending matters 34 felonies +10 contempts = 44 matters to be sentenced. Although sentencing giddiness on the 34 felonies are sometimes non-custodial for some like the Defendant who has been able to avoid any criminal convictions whether at the "Castle" in Queens or the Wharton School and/or over machinations with Roy Cohen & other attorneys over the decades.
The Court has specifically warned the Defendant & his current attorneys "incarceration" is possible.
Let It be so & bring a 🪥 toothbrush.
