Your recollection of the joke is reminiscent of past descriptions of the Polish parliament - where unanimity was declared before anything could be done - meaning nothing ever got done.

Maybe the Polish leaders are just spouting nonsense - in which case all good. I actually don't have any issues with Poland blatantly profiting off the Ukraine situation by being the primary funnel for Western money and arms to enter Ukraine, or Polish workers repairing Ukrainian/Western gear.

But Poland entering into active conflict against Russia - sorry, if that occurs then the only conclusion is the b-word. Whether this is because of its leaders or because of the failure of its citizens to restrain said leaders - it really doesn't matter anymore.
