And, as Simon noted with the Heather Cox Richardson session, warmer weather will make it more inviting (and imperative) to ramp up (peaceful) public protest.
Large crowd sizes matter to Trump.
There were 2 separate protests in Sarasota, Fl on March 9, 2025. One on Tamiami Trail in DT Sarasota, skirting the Gulf of Mexica...and the other on a major Blvd adjacent to the Tesla dealership. I have no clue as to the numbers, but my guess is hundreds of protesters showed up. FYI, given that Sarasota is the home of Michael Flynn and co-founder of Moms for Liberty (the woman on the Sarasota School Board with the three-some sex scandal attached to her name), I was pleased with the number of protesters who showed up.
