I wasn't saying I didnt know of the existence of the Constitution and its Amendments, I was questioning the idea of it being an oracle that we can ask for simple answers. The Constitution provides guidelines that are constantly reinterpreted and challenged, which is why we have judges and lawyers. But there are different rights and different conceptions of "due process" for citizens, foreigners, illegal aliens charged with crimes, illegal aliens who've been deported multiple times before. I wasn't being obtuse or an expert, I'm just not a knee-jerk partisan.
The truth is that neither Party gives a shit about the Constitution or "due process": the Dems ignored them to flood the country w millions of illegal aliens, and the Repubs will ignore them to try to remove them. It's just a matter of your preference and which side you're on.
My personal opinion is that there's not an adult on earth who doesn't know that if they're in a country illegally sans papers they can be deported any moment, and that this and immigration raids and deportations were common knowledge and common uncontroversial policy until the Orange Man won in 2016 and the Dems lost their minds with a big assist from the MSM.
American liberals seem to have decided that what's most important is their getting to publicly perform as either members of the Underground Railroad or the Selma Freedom Riders, regardless of how politically and socially destructive it becomes and regardless if it ends up hurting the people it's supposed to help.
