Beautifully written John. I couldn't agree more. I had the "good fortune" to get hit with a migraine this week and just happened to hit the couch and TV right before the start of the women's free skate live performance. It was indeed moving and elevating. There is a certain strength and self-awareness in many of this new generation that is hopeful.
