Not only do folks of all persuasions 'forget' sooner than they think they do, many are also unaware of things 'they don't know', yet salve their ego's beating the only drum they have; and I would like to also: I get it. One of the main reasons that immigration is so 'historically' problematic is that it crosses over so very many overlapping issues of law; It's far more than just padlocking a border door or gate.
