👀🤠 20 years ago today Alberta politics took a wild turn when Progressive Conservative members dealt Premier Ralph Klein a stunning blow with a lukewarm 55.4% endorsement in the party’s leadership review. Klein led the party for 13 years and to 4 majority election victories, but every politician has a best before date. Klein would resign in December 2006.

This was the start of the wild ride of Alberta politics that continues today.
