I did not read Mike as calling anyone a racist or Klan member. I understood him to be pointing out that some people are not as honorable as they appear. There have been occasions when the poor choice of an example in a sermon has led members of a congregation to react to something they thought I was saying which never occurred to me. I think that is what happened to Mike.
