The problem with Social Security isn't "fraud."
The problem with Social Security is that as the rich have gotten richer, more of their income has escaped the cap on the SS payroll tax.
In fact, millionaires stop paying SS taxes today.

This is the craziest thing I have ever written. Many indicators are coming in that Trump fully intends to invade Greenland and Canada. “Annex” is just a nice word for killing Canadians/Greenlanders and seizing land we do not own for Elon Musk’s technologist dictatorship. It would cause the Armed Forces to mutiny and Civil War in America to start. Take this talk seriously. Read this assessment.

For the rest of my life, I will never understand how a country full of people busting their asses, working paycheck to paycheck, allow the fucking richest guy on Earth to call them "parasites" while calling the Social Security we contributed to our entire lives "a Ponzi scheme."

Norway has just decided to increase its support to Ukraine for 2025 from 35 to 85 billion Norwegian kroner ($7,81 billion). Compared to the size of the population, the Norwegian aid equals $483 billion from the USA.

You should hire one of the Slow Boring interns to curate your comments section. The folks at Slow Boring have done an industry leading job with lightly curating comments. The range of acceptable expression is broad, the top comments often show deep personal or professional knowledge of the topic, and the tone is quite civil.
The interns didn’t do that (they often exacerbated hot button issue debates). Most of the commenters are just highly conscientious with data-rich backgrounds.
Plenty of people have been pushed away over the years, which is why smart people spend time commenting on SB. You can say smart, controversial things without being called names or screamed at too often. It’s nice.
