Barbara, thank You for your words of solace. I usually include the name of the author to whom I am directing, most particularly, my comment. Later today it occurred to me that I receive notices via email when someone "likes" or replies to my post. I found nothing from TC, so I figured it was OK for me to stop worrying. I'm not afraid of criticism. But I have great respect for TC, and if he were to see a flaw in my reasoning, I would want to hear about it. TC has been fairly merciless toward anyone who says anything like "Joe has to go". Very often I have found myself muttering to myself about the same comment that TC has just excoriated the author about. I tend to want to sharpen my "razor" -- as in Occam's Razor -- with a few lines, or a short paragraph. TC is like our Sergeant at Arms, who keeps the trolls and the bots at bay. Not to say that TC would not respond with wit and wisdom. I always enjoy his writing.
