While we're discussing exacting wording and proper labeling, I was interested to read this in today's post (yesterday's actually) from Heather:

" Paving the way for those today calling for an end to liberal democracy..." referring to the Republicans, especially those of the far right minority running the House at the moment.

Why the word "liberal"?

If we are to state what is really at stake here?
