Ty, I must reply. A one-sided view of history is not history. Firstly, Arab armies are not the Palestinians; the Palestinians are not responsible for what foreign Arabs did. Secondly, there were no Arab armies, only Egypt had a force capable of fighting the Israelis. The small Jordan Legion remained around Jerusalem and hardly fought. Thirdly, as I said, look at the map, Egypt military entered only the territory awarded to the Palestinians, crossing the Negev to reach Beersheeba, also awarded to the Palestinians. They did not attack Israelis in the area that Ben-Gurion declared to be Israel. Odd that vast territory awarded to the Palestinains ended up with the Israelis and odd that you indicate that Arab friends had no right to protect the Palestinians from the land theft and expulsion.
As for 2-states, I showed what were the 2-states and the Palestinians had the right to lead both states. Besides, the UN Declaration had no authority and if someone said they don't want to abide by it, it becomes refuse. Why would Palestinians who lived in the area for generations give authority to foreign jews who had just arrived by boat?
