Portugal just ended child marriage in their country by raising the legal age to 18.

Child marriage is legalized and systemized child sexual abuse, rape, and slavery: if you are not old enough to consent to sex, and not old enough to file for divorce, you are not old enough to consent to marriage.

Bravo, Portugal! 🇵🇹
