I agree, and I told him exactly that. Get them out now. From what I understand his wife's kind of stubborn and wants to believe things will work out and somehow go back to whatever passed for normal before all the trouble. I highly doubt that, but at the same time I understand love for one's home and not wanting to give it up. I have several friends who've faced that situation, so I know how they feel. Starting to feel that way myself actually, since Canada has taken a very dark turn in recent years. We may end up leaving too if things continue on their current path.
