Wrapping up my 2026 US B2B Mobile Phone Data Benchmark (finally).

The sample:

  • 10 providers: ZoomInfo, Upcell, Wiza, Apollo, Lusha, LeadIQ, Forager, RocketReach, LeadMagic, People Data Labs

  • 1,400 US leaders, 3k+ mobile numbers reviewed

  • C-level and VP-level only

  • 7 personas: security, sales, marketing, finance, HR, engineering, operations

  • 2 company sizes: 50-1k, 1k+

  • Cost: $2,521

Methodology:

I didn't run it as a waterfall. Every contact went to all 10 providers in parallel, so each one is graded on what it finds on its own, not on the scraps left behind.

Then I layered validation:

  • Trestle to confirm if the number is a mobile number.

  • IPQS to confirm the name on file matches the prospect

  • Sureconnect to score pickup likelihood

What's in the benchmark:

  • Coverage per provider

  • Mobile coverage inside that

  • Wrong-number rate (does the number actually belong to the prospect)

  • Still-in-service rate

  • Pickup likelihood

  • Cost per number, per mobile, per valid mobile

  • Unique numbers and overlap between providers

  • Ranking per persona

  • Ranking per company size
