If the war was going as well for Russia as everyone here insists that it is, then Russia would have won a long time ago. Russia has taken hits to its economic stability, demographics (already weak) and military readiness as a result of the war. NATO/US and Ukraine (especially) have suffered as well. All of this should be discussed and weighed. To make wise decisions, we need the truth, not partisanship. This isn't a football game and we don't need cheerleaders. People are dying in the tens of thousands.
I'm from the US and not reflexively pro-Russia, but I'm anti-Biden/Nuland/neocon US foreign policy because it elevates the interests of the ruling class over those of the common citizen. During the early 2000's, Putin was receptive to the idea that Russia would integrate with the West (IMO as it should be), but instead of embracing the country with the world's largest repository of natural resources, the West (US, really) decided it wanted to use its temporary advantage post-USSR collapse to dominate and humiliate the Russians. We're now reaping what we've sown in Ukraine.
