If La Reppublica is to be believed, the initial NATO contingent to be sent is 100,000 infantry, plus air, air defense and armor. Considering that NATO already has France, Poland, Czech Republic, the Baltics, the UK and Holland as likely contributors, that should be easy. Germany, Romania, Spain, Italy, Greece and others will also be pressured to join in, whether now or later.

The idea that NATO needs to ask Ukraine anything is a joke. It's not as if the US asks Syria permission to fly over or establish bases, and Syria has more sovereignty than Ukraine.
