Michele, I don't understand how your belief that 'nearly all the important people in a town...' in Indiana were members of the KKK has anything to do with one of us, without knowledge or providing any basis, associate another with being in the KKK and lynching a Black person. What your surmises have to do with associating Brooks in the lynching a Black person is beyond my comprehension.
