The entirety of our civilization has developed in the 20,000 year period of warming, glacial melt and sea level rise. Warmer and wetter is much better than the cold, dry conditions which kept humanity huddled near the equator for over 200,000 years before the current warm phase.

There is a serious problem with science becoming politicized. It has been a problem throughout the history of science. Many of the greatest scientists were silenced, jailed and even executed for their proposals. This politization of science was obvious with Climate Change and the religion began with Reverend Gore. It continues with non-elected political motives of the United Nations (the IPCC) to constrain developing nations and keep them in perpetual servitude. The Covid debacle has made the politicization even more obvious. Dissenting opinions should never be silenced. That is anti-science.
