That it is not the case that the material conditions of life define or condition reality and the processes of living, for those who live outside or very largely outside the countries where industrial capitalism holds sway as for those who are the subjects of capitalism

To those who claim otherwise it is possible to state that the wealth and comforts produced will encourage fantasies of freedom from ordinary constraints and indulgence in sentiment
