Capitalism depends of ever increasing work forces – so women were induced into work, conscripted on the idea that to exchange the family home for the factory was liberation (duh – home can be bad, but they all can not be all bad; they can not be as bad as a factory, and all factories are hell, from the Luddites to the Amazon)

Hence the sweeteners, the fantasy of liberation and free choice, the entertainments of status glamour whatever as if this was freedom, and the empty seductions of consumerism

You are right about gvmt control over capital, benevolent government – the RF has put in many programs and is having some success, as is Hungary – have you looked at these?
