So, the child tax credit, affordable health care, money for infrastructure, a booming economy with low unemployment and higher wages, Medicare, Social Security, stronger alliances to counter Russian aggression, support for Ukraine, and other federal programs/responsibilities are irrelevant?

Could things be better….yes, in many of the ways you mention. But right now we have a choice between the two parties, one of which is seriously dysfunctional and dangerous. Throwing your hands up in the air and saying elections don’t matter accomplishes nothing…except maybe a feeling of cynical superiority.
