I got covid last year was fairly nasty but my GP put it into context for me.

If you are I’ll and are in bed feeling like death but you don’t need to be hospitalised we call that a mild illness.

Another word, if your body and your own immune system makes you recover with no intervention. This is a mild case.

She told me most people think mild means next to no symptoms in the UK. At least that is not how they define it.

Silver lining, your immune system was robust enough to beat this awful thing, and most likely has learned and memorised how to fight similar things again.
