People I know will find a single source which appears to refute any point they disagree with - no matter how many falsehoods it may contain - and consider their due diligence complete. I find it fascinating to watch the back-and-forth on these contentious issues. That is how science functions; and that is why the suppression of dissent has been so damaging to truth.
