The app for independent voices

Hey Friends, I’m here of Substack, and here is why I decided to leave MSNBC and go 100% independent with all my content.

Conditional self-forgiveness is a doorway to intense suffering. Conditional self-forgiveness can lead us to lower energy and heightened emotional pain in:

  • Our professional lives

  • Our relationships with others

  • Our journey as spiritual students

The only way to make it all stop is a posture of innocence, and reminding our selves that our mistakes are just as innocent as everyone else’s.

Hey guys. Sorry if you got a notification I had a video up. I opened a blaster of illusions and I somehow recorded it in slow motion making an 8 minute video 49 mins. I feel dumb. I’ll post “my hits” as soon as my daughter wraps up her basketball season. They are currently 0-7. Will they win the final game? I’m taking action on the game now. I’ll have a pod up later for my payers.

You made it, you own it

Our conference rooms at Substack HQ are named after writers. Every day, I walk past Charles Dickens, Toni Morrison, Gertrude Stein, and Anaïs Nin and smile inwardly to myself.

God forbid we ever find out what happens in William S Borroughs

it’s a good place to nod out

can you name the dusty supply closet on the first floor behind the stairs “scoot”

it’s already the name of the bathroom

:’)

“MA! Ma wake up—I made it!”

“Conference Rooms” - sounds very corporate. I always preferred our managers calling meetings in the War Room. Aptly named 😄.

We actually call them peace rooms

Even better

Not sure I’d take a meeting in the Philip K. Dick conference room… :-/

that one’s for the hard meetings

My little brain read this quickly and saw “Jim Morisson” and thought “hell yeah someone’s a Doors fan!”

beloved was also a great book tho.

that definitely would have been an appropriate name to put on a door

We can save Jimmy for the auditorium

Can you upload the photo of the conference room names Simon Owens? Thx

Yes let’s just hope my WiFi signal is strong enough here. If the photo doesn’t show up, it’s definitely a signal problem.

Not a bad crowd to have on the walls. Let’s just hope nobody’s holding meetings in Orwell—might mean trouble’s brewing.

honestly, that is our main conference room for the leadership team

Leadership meetings in Orwell, huh? Sounds like a place where the minutes write themselves, and then rewrite themselves just to be sure. Hope there’s a strong coffee supply... and an exit that’s not ‘under review.’ ☕📜🚪🔍😅

Do you say hello every time?

quietly, yes

I could never post this one enough.

People who can’t handle criticism are unfit to lead.

Weak leaders fear dissent as a threat to their power. They silence their critics to shield their egos.

Strong leaders welcome dissent as an opportunity for growth. They silence their egos to learn from their critics.
