My personal tinfoil hat theory on that was they were destroyed with an underground nuke. If you look closely at the footage the entire building turned into powder. Nothing short of a nuke would do that. In one angle of the collapse, there were clear signs of explosions. Which would also explain why it's called ground zero I guess.
