As I have just now posted below: if you look at the construction it doesn't seem anything could destroy these buildings. I think the construction would even withstand a nearby nuclear blast, or multiple nukes. The core would still stand. Even trying to demolish with explosives would be extremely difficult and would take many, many months of work. It would be easier to remove piece by piece.

They were designed to be indestructible.
