Cultural norms and values also play important roles in shaping the society, this is why more orthodox and conservative culture like Russia, Middle East, and Asia generally speaking, tend to have more solid and structural society (although not problem free), compared to liberal and secular one like especially in USA, where there is no longer border between moral and immoral things / values, but this is my pure opinion.
