The problem with Social Security isn't "fraud."

The problem with Social Security is that as the rich have gotten richer, more of their income has escaped the cap on the SS payroll tax.

In fact, millionaires stop paying SS taxes today.

We can fix this by scrapping the cap.

Hey guys. Sorry if you got a notification I had a video up. I opened a blaster of illusions and I somehow recorded it in slow motion making an 8 minute video 49 mins. I feel dumb. I’ll post “my hits” as soon as my daughter wraps up her basketball season. They are currently 0-7. Will they win the final game? I’m taking action on the game now. I’ll have a pod up later for my payers.

You don’t expect a grocery list to break your heart. Until it does.

I was filling shelves in the baking aisle, when I noticed her—an elderly woman clutching a handwritten grocery list that looked like it had been folded and unfolded a hundred times.

She kept glancing at it, then at the shelves, then back at it—like the list itself might change if she stared at it long enough.

I asked if she needed help, and she gave a small, tired smile.

“Oh, I do,” she said. “But it’s silly.”

The pro-life movement continues to behave as though society’s acceptance of abortion is a crisis of science. I’ve said it for years: this is not a crisis of science. This is a crisis of faith. And Romy’s abortion account - specifically,…

Anyone else thinking of getting off social media (I’m looking at you Instagram)??! The more I think about it, the more I don’t love how it makes me feel, among other things. Writing here has been a breath of fresh air and I’d love to pour all my energy into this space. What has it been like for those who’ve taken the plunge and said goodbye to the gram? Especially if you have a Substack page.

One of the unacknowledged advantages of this awful era is that it's revealing for all to see the putrid connections between great wealth and great power.

Yes, we outnumber them.

But they now control the military.

So… that worries me a lot!

They've done that before, too. Kent State? Times suck right now, but it's important to remember that we've been through difficult times before. Protest, support those close to you, and stay strong. Trauma is their goal - don't let them succeed.

Ah yes, I remember that. It’s true that they are hoping to overwhelm us

For every $1 in funding for the CFPB, more than $4 has been placed back in consumers’ pockets. It's one of the most efficient government agencies we have. So why did Trump fire the director, and tell the anti-scam police to stop work and go home?
