Absolutely vital now to continue to control both. But you and I know that is not possible in the longer run. Most of the American people are not familiar with this stuff, and will vote with their pocket books every time. All that has to happen is for a poorly timed event to occur beyond the power of the current administration to control, which affects said pocket book, along with some fierce spin from the bad guys, a manufactured October surprise, add in a touch of apathy, and voila! The door is opened.
