The fundamental problem with progressivism — and I say this as someone who was a leftist for my entire life, until maybe five years ago—is that progressives want there to be a different reality than the one that is, and become angered when confronted with reality, and blame whoever is presenting that reality to them for being the perpetrator of whatever unpleasant or imperfect reality presented.
The conventional wisdom not so long ago was that Trump was either doomed to irrelevance or prison. Now, he's a world-historical figure, ushering in a new era of populist nationalism. The irony is that he wouldn't be playing that role had Democrats not tried to put him in prison.

I've been getting lots of messages from Syrians begging me to tell the world what's going on right now.
They want to stay anonymous out of fear of being killed by the government.
They've told me that women, children and the elderly have been slaughtered.
Fathers have been murdered in front of their children.
And they say that the islamist government is trying to cover it up.
Christians and other minorities are being massacred in Syria and the mainstream media is silent.

The media asking Zelenskyy if he wants to apologize to Trump is everything wrong with the media. They should be asking if Trump wants to apologize to Zelenskyy. Most Americans are humiliated at the trash behavior by Trump and JD in the Oval.
The problem with Social Security isn't "fraud."
The problem with Social Security is that as the rich have gotten richer, more of their income has escaped the cap on the SS payroll tax.
In fact, millionaires stop paying SS taxes today.
We can fix this by scrapping the cap.

I can’t stand when news companies make people pay for news. My decision may not be the most business savvy, but times are too important to do anything otherwise.

It’s increasingly impossible to deny Trump is Putin’s operative - astounding given that Russia is a mafia state that offers nothing any foreign business or other country wants. Maybe the deal is Putin will use nukes to gain control of all former Soviet bloc states, and Trump will get his rare earth minerals that way. The extent of Trump’s betrayal of Ukraine and western democracies is hard to overstate.
You are right. He is reported to have been a Russian plant since the 1980's. I thought so when he was in office before, without these reports. He is not even trying to hide it anymore. He is a TRAITOR! There has to be a way to remove him from office because of this betrayal.
Do you think his hand-picked cabinet is going to Amendment 25 him? No.
Do you think that the Republican majority Congress is going to impeach him? No.
Outside of the grim reaper, and assuming there is a presidential election in 2028, it looks as if we're stuck with this lemon of a bad choice.
There's another element to today's televised Show of Disgrace that most Americans may not understand. This loop will be re-broadcast on Russian State TV 1 over and over again, endlessly repeated to drive home the "point" that Americans no longer support Zelensky.
Don't think for a second Donald Trump isn't aware of this, or that this was some kind of spontaneous show of anger. It was not. It was all *carefully planned* probably with JD Shady Lady setting the honey trap as a pretext for an orches…
I seriously wonder if trump and his nasty handlers will be in office long enough to get those spoils. Trump is betting the ranch that he can drag the USA into the status of a failed state from which he will make money. So it depends on what removes the gaslighting glasses from people's eyes.
We cannot wait until 2028. Trump is laying the groundwork to remain in office for a third term. We must regain both the House and Senate in 2026 to slow this travesty down until we elect a democrat to the White House in 2028.
