A diverse society means controversy and dissatisfaction are inevitable, but that's part of checks and balances, and sometimes even creativity. But a society needs a preponderant foundation of solidarity, a social contract that few will breach. The notion of supremacy, that one group of people is worthy of rights and another is not is sociopathic.
