When my eldest daughter had her pertussis vaccine, she had several episodes of high-pitched screaming where she was totally inconsolable. At the time I checked with our GP, Plunket nurse and the Healthline. I was assured by all that my child had colic and it couldn't possibly be related to the vaccine, despite the fact that she had never had colic previously. Some years later I read research that this crying was a side effect and she actually had brain inflammation. Fortunately, when I found this out my daughter was old enough for me to know that her cognitive function had not been affected, but I have researched every childhood vaccine and its effects thoroughly since. The medical profession has NO IDEA of the damage they are doing to our children. If I were a young mother again, I would not let my children anywhere near these shots knowing what I do now.
