I wouldn't settle for "seem to be ok" if I was in your shoes. A variety of docs have been working out treatments for spikeshot injury and based on what I've read/heard, I think it's highly likely the same treatments would be helpful for us shed-on-unvaxxed. If you want to research treatments, I can recommend a few places to start. (I hope your girlfriend will join you in researching and doing treatment.)
