In psychology, the telos of the individual is self-actualization. This is nonsense.

We are defined by our responsibilities. If you are a woman, you are a daughter, a mother and/or a wife.

When we do the opposite and define ourselves by our feelings we are anxious and lost.

Humans aren’t meant to excavate their inner feelings until they find their “true self.” We become ourselves in relation, not through introspection.
