The "main point is that white people are sick and tired...of being called privileged."

Seriously, that's your main point?

Being born white still affords measurable, demonstrable privilege that can be collected, tallied, and plotted just like the laws of physics. Being "sick and tired" of gravity or the fundamentals of mathematics does not change it.

While some of my fellow descendants of European immigrants to this continent may be "sick and tired" of the fact of their privilege being pointed out, it is not a "blame game." Taking responsibility for the system that favored our ancestors and ourselves, in no way means we accept the blame for that system. It does, however, mean we are responsible for changing it because, now that we understand the effects of our privilege, and because facts matter, we must Do Something™️, as Michelle Obama rightly instructed us.

If that's your central argument, it may be the best object lesson that we are 159 years late for Truth and Reconciliation process in this country. That would be a Something we could all Do together.
