The main course is playing sports, learning skills, spending the energy capital on hobbies, passions and interests.
If you can't go out to a restaurant without worrying about the macros or weighing your food, it's a detractor, not a supplement.
There are 100 more interesting things than lifting weights, and that's coming from someone who trains 5-6x per week for over a decade.
